WebP Buddy is a 100% client-side tool - your images never leave your browser. All conversions happen directly in your device using the Canvas API.

• No server uploads to anywhere
• No image storage or processing on our servers
• Your files are processed locally in memory
• Converted files stay in your device until you delete them

2. LocalStorage Usage

We use your browser's LocalStorage to:

• Track conversion count for the day (localStorage: webpbuddy_conversion_count)
• Enable future premium features (paywall functionality)

This data is stored only on your device and cannot be accessed by us.

3. No Third-Party Tracking

We do not use:

• Google Analytics or similar tracking tools
• Cookies for tracking purposes
• Pixels from social media platforms
• Third-party advertising networks
• Session recording tools

4. External Resources

The only third-party resource we load is:

• Tailwind CSS CDN: For styling purposes, loaded from unpkg.com
• This loads once when you visit our site

5. Data We Don't Collect

For complete transparency, here's what we dont collect:

• Your uploaded images or converted files
• Your IP address or geolocation data
• Browser fingerprint or device information
• Personal identifiable information (PII)
• Cookies or session data
